Would you give someone another chance if they kept treated you badly?

It really comes down to how badly, how many offenses, exactly what the offenses were. Extreme physical violence, where he beats the crap out of me, would be a one and done. Light verbal abuse or arguments, maybe something I started, I'd give several other chances. But if it continued, obviously, we'd be over fairly soon.
