Tips on healing from a break up?

I can’t eat.
I can’t sleep well.
I’m scared to put myself out there again because of how excruciating this pain is.

I don’t know what to do and I don’t know why this happened.

Time heals all wounds.

I've heard this expression many times in the 6 decades I have been on this Earth. And it is basically true. And... I have tried "self analyzing" the WHY? many times without success as well.

My "older and wiser" advice: Just accept that things happen for a reason and if you didn't break up with him, then you'd never meet the guy that is supposed to be with you (the one you will meet shortly... right after you get back into the swing of things)

My tips:
-Take care of #1 (yourself) first
-Hit the gym hard (helps you sleep and will clear your mind). And don't hesitate to look at and interact with those "candidates" that catch your eye while you are there.
-Remember that "You cannot have too many friends" (Because they have friends that may interest you, now that you are single.)
-Hold you head up and be confident (men tend to pick up on this vibe immediately)
