I think problems with relationships started when people forgot what life is really about. Life, by it's very nature is a struggle. The fact that you survive one more day is an achievement in it's self.

Relationships are about helping each other survive. If you can enjoy a moment or two in between that's awesome, but this chasing the ultimate pleasure with each relationship is why people are jaded. That does not exist outside of outliers.

For most of us, a vast majority of us, relationships that work are the boring safe types.
