Do you agree that you shouldn't get into a relationship until you can love/accept yourself?

i think its bs. i used to believe it and now i realize its compleatly wrong and it was making my depression worse. it is very damaging to people like me who hate themselves. that means then i dont love anyone elce including my parents and now i see myself more objectively and realize i do still really love my parents.

That's not what it means IMO. You can love others without loving yourself, but it's never as healthy
