I would feel devastated, not because it would hurt me, but because of how impossible I feel it should be. My name is unique, so it shouldn't be possible. I'm a unique person, so it shouldn't be possible. There are dozens of reasons why being called my significant other's ex's name would be terrible, and all of them Sten from the fact that I feel I would make a very distinguishable difference between us.

I'd be okay with it because knowing me I'd make that same mistake.

It depends on who this someone is? If it's just a complete stranger or a friend I wouldn't care. It'd be weird but it's whatever.
