First he or she should be a heaven's sent! I mean the right one that God willed for you to share your life journey.
I think the most practical secret of a growing relationship is to have lifetime goals and share same dreams!

However heaven sent he or she is you still have to work on your relationship as in most marriages there are times when your spouse appears to have been sent from the other place!
