It is written into our dna, the very fiber of our humanity. We are made with a natural attraction to women and given a sex drive. As a result of the necessity of procreation for the continued existence of the species.
But then there is a much more romantic part. We all have an inborn desire for companionship, acceptance, and to be loved. We want someone to share our lives with. Most of us have this desire wrapped up with a sexual desire for gratification, which makes us look to the opposite sex to fulfill this need for companionship.
