Im starting to feel like most all relationships are pointless and a waste of time and energy

Have to agree....................and sorry I'm late to the party.
You KNOW what YOU want, so that's what anyone should concentrate on. Everything else (including physical pleasure) is a bonus. Some much more to be said on this subject, but that's for a MUCH longer discussion.............but happy to have one. I like to philosophize about these things..............
