I'm fine left alone. Having some relaxing company is great. But please no "things will be alright" type consolations. I know things will pass. It's obvious

@MasterofNone then what someone supposed to say to make you feel better?
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
@DeecemberGirl How can you say anything about which I know better than you ? You can just listen, hug and distract with other awesome things like food or TV. Even force a stressed one to follow good habits because they are not taking care of themselves.
Both actually. Like if I need space I will literally just say that. But if I don't it's probably a sign I want to be comforted. It just depends on each situation.

@canusernamebemyusername what if he didn't reply my chat but he posts story on whatsapp instead

Depends who it is. Mostly left alone. But if in a relationship some physical closeness without having to talk about the problem could help.

There’s really no set formula. My partner should acknowledge the stressful situation I’m in, and say: I am here to support, not overwhelm you. What would you like me to do?

Left alone. I know people mean we'll, but I'm better off left alone.
DeecemberGirl · 31-35, F
@SW-User until how long?
SW-User
@DeecemberGirl Till I sort myself out. That's just me though, everyone is different.

I need to have a sounding board - someone I can just offload to
DeecemberGirl · 31-35, F
@Crusher69 what does that mean? I'm sorry, english is not my first language. :(
Crusher69 · 61-69, M
@DeecemberGirl Ah - OK. A sounding board is someone you can trust who just listens to you and may offer a few suggestions or advice - or not!
Mmiker · 46-50, M
Definitely I’d like someone to be there with me.

I would rather have the one whom loves me by my side
