Have you ever said the wrong name while telling your partner you love them?

The words are out there never to be taken back. How did they react, if it happened to you, how did you react/get over it. It's not the end of the world but still hurts and is shocking.

I did this one time. I felt bad for doing it. It was accidental .she got mad even though I loved her just as,much as my last girlfriend

Yes she got over it we are not together anymore we didn't break up because of that. We stayed together. It just upset her a little bit this was,back in the early 90's

@Shawnkautzman1: It did, he called me (well started to call me but stopped himself) his ex wifes name right after he said "I love you too ..." He supposedly hates her and they ended things over 3 years ago...

When I did this we were having a argument and just accidentally called her my ex's name

@Shawnkautzman1: see that makes sense! if he was irritated with me and called me by his ex's name I'd understand.
