How do you get over your one week lover?

Have you ever fallen for someone at first conversation. Thought maybe they could be different. The feelings were mutual but you had to walk away because you knew in the end it was the best for you both. But how do you walk away from something that could have been the best relationship you ever had?

You can try to make it work too, as an option. A good relationship takes works and sometimes considerable time and effort. The easy way out is to walk away, but you may regret that decision later.

I regret it now but he wasnt ready since he just got out of a relationship. He wanted to be friends but I wanted more. So I didnt force it and walked away. Sometimes I think maybe I should be friends with him so when hes ready we can start trying to have a relationship but idk
