married men are trapped men. you are slaves to your wives and we all know who is going to lose most when the divorce comes.... and it always comes. there is no happily ever after. there is no forever. i know you want to believe that its factual that most marriages end in divorce meaning most of you here are probably already fighting and soon divorcing. a fact isn't a fact because its polite but because its based on statistical empirical evidence. google marriage statistics and see for yourself. am sorry guys but sooner or later you will be willingly or forcefully MGTOW anyway....a man going his own way after divorce. you will soon be walking away. its just a matter of time. remember and mark my words.

@zezizu I actually agree with you on some points you are making, regarding divorce. My partner and I were discussing the topic earlier today, as we were watching an r/slash video about a man, who spent 3 years gettings revenge on his cheating wife. When he found out that she was cheating, he was wise enough to not immediately confront her, but instead went to a divorce lawyer. The lawyer told him that divorce would be very bad for him, as he worked more hours, earning more money, and spent less time with the kids. Most likely, he would lose the house, the right to his children, and pay alimony.
He decided to open up to a woman from his work place, and she had a brilliant idea. He applied for a different position, earning much less than he did before, and told the wife that it was due to stress, and that he wanted to spend more time with the kids, which he then did. Meanwhile, he encouraged his wife to get her masters degree, which is why this whole thing took 3 years. Eventually she did, and was now earning a lot. Throughout these three years, what helped him through was the relationship between him and the co-worker who originally helped him, which became more intimate.
The man ended up filing for divorce, winning the house, the right to his children, and SHE paid HIM alimony. He also ended up marrying his co-worker who was there for him throughout the whole thing, but the wife's "boyfriend" eventually cheated on her. Apparently the wife was a pretty good sport about it all, when everything was said and done.
I think it's insane that the person who contributes most to the finances, and have less time with their children, is the one being punished in case of divorce.

https://ifstudies.org/blog/the-us-divorce-rate-has-hit-a-50-year-low#:~:text=Divorce%20in%20America%20has%20been,have%20seen%20in%2050%20years.
Divorce rate in the USA is at its lowest in nearly 50 years. For every 1,000 marriages in the last year, only 14.9 ended in divorce, (2019) according to the newly released American Community Survey data from the Census Bureau. The peak was in 1980, with 22.6 per 1,000.
But yes, divorce happens. So what?
As to who's going to lose most when divorce comes, it's the couple who pinned their hopes on a lasting marriage, but ended up getting divorce. This is what you meant, right?
