How long after a breakup do you mention and/or make disparaging & insulting comments about your ex?

I’m immature, and an idiot and have terrible judgement when it comes to men. The disparaging remarks begin as soon as I realize what I’m observing is a deeply embedded pattern that is like a thorn in my side. I acknowledge everything good first, but repeat if the negative trait is affecting how we get along, I repeat it to myself until I’m convinced I should just leave/break up.”someone cheating and turning” gay, and becoming “wee hours gamer thru the night” didn’t work for me. Stupid choices. Great people. Just stupid of me.
