I have no problem engaging in a conversation with a woman with no picture.

for me, no picture means fake, therefore will not engage in a conversation.

So I have done this thing: I have made a profile on a dating website. No photo. I have no problem showing a picture of mine after a rapport has been established, due to my career and living in a small town. Do I have a chance? Would you engage in a conversation with a woman who has no picture up in her profile? This question is addressed to men only: as I am straight.

Possibly, if was single I don’t think I’d rule it out. I’d maybe have a look at what was written on the profile and then decide.

@uniqueness1 Good point. I’m a boomer, in my late 50s. I think if I were in one of the younger age groups I’d probably be more likely to answer no to your question.

If you are a female on a dating site, you'll get hits regardless of a picture. That's just how it is.

@AthrillatheHunt well, some people, ie. me, need to put no photo due to our position in society and living in a small town. I am a white collar and need to guard my privacy. I would have no problem showing a photo privately after a few convos. Doesn't that count for anything?
