Jesus... if you're even having to ask this makes me fear about how you might earn a living...
@HootyTheNightOwl I spent 7 years with college
@scooogy Clearly you aren't used to working. When I last worked outside of home, I was out of the house between 8am and 6pm 5 days a week and I still managed to make a relationship (and later on an engagement) work for almost 2 years.
@HootyTheNightOwl Maybe I think that way because my ex used to cling with me (long distance relationship) and get upset whenever I didn't respond immediately.
@scooogy That's her problem that she needs to deal with.
My man has been sick for two days and I hadn't had a word from him until this morning. I'm not pissy about it... I understand that life happens and found other ways to amuse myself while I waited to hear from him.

@HootyTheNightOwl "amuse" isn't what I think it is here, right?
@scooogy No... I worked on things that I could do by myself - like my blog and educating people on SW.
I don't know what you expected of me, but I am faithful and monogamous with my man.

@HootyTheNightOwl Well, I'm used to being one of many.
@scooogy Not all women are the same. Real men and women know how to keep their privates in their pants and be mature enough to understand that the world does not revolve around them.
It's kind of a little insulting that you judge every woman on that standard, actually. Oddly enough, you aren't the first guy to do it, though... even in the absence of evidence.

@HootyTheNightOwl I just hate how some women act like men owed to ask women out as if men were animals.
@scooogy Some women are old fashioned like that... just like the same women most likely won't propose to their boyfriend, either.
@HootyTheNightOwl Do you know the song "She's like the wind" by Patrick Swayze? I feel like that with my crush. Somehow she seemed like hinting on me asking her out here and there, but I had people do their best to convince me of the opposite in the past in such cases.
@scooogy I'm familiar with the song... I often listen to it myself.
One day, you're going to have to stop listening to others and take the plunge for yourself, though. I get that it's scary to think about being rejected but if you never try, then, one day, you could be attending her wedding, wishing that you were the groom because you never even tried to make that move and ask her out.

@HootyTheNightOwl is there something like timing or strategy to successful asking out? Or is that like destiny?
@scooogy You just have to pick a time when you feel like she is most likely to say "Yes".
Maybe when you have both been having a good time and are happy and relaxed together.

@HootyTheNightOwl Often enough she's like relaxed yet busy 😕
