What do you suspect is most likely the reason it is so difficult for most people to get love right?

Getting love "right" as in finding a compatible partner who genuinely respects, trusts and loves them and is willing to put in the effort to maintain a healthy relationship?

I think people become too hung up on outwards appearances and miss clear red flags that indicate incompatibility.
