No, I often feel attracted to them in some way, their intelligence, thoughts, and who they claim to be. I say claim cause in internet one can't really know.

Same, I even had a journal for them where I wrote down everything and eventually figured out their work schedule without being told....but we should keep that in the past shh

Fantasy. Oh, some of it can be made real, if you both are into it. But online tends to be a lack of commitment and communication. And people don't match up to our fantasies. Better to stick with the real world where you live. Try that. Odds are better there.

I think a lot of online relating is based on fantasy; that can be a strength if it remains online only but a weakness if meeting in person could result in disappointment, if those fantasies aren't met.

Just remember to keep flashing the word "perspective" in front of your eyes. As we all know (or should)....the whole web can be, and often is a facade and a cesspool of the slight of hand. Catfishing, improv, keyboard tyranny....it's all here.

The crux of the whole endeavor is to avoid the snare.

Lol, no...I don't think I've ever assumed the person's hot. Sometimes based on the way they write I can envision them being attractive and enjoying an in-person casual conversation with them.
