What does it mean when I don't text my boyfriend for a day and he misses me?

So I didn't text him for a whole day and then the next day he text me and said hey I missed you yesterday, you didn't text me, and then when we met he gave me a lot of kisses and said he missed me. He also said that when I don't text him he thinking that something might have happened to me.

I think it's because when you love someone and care about them, you'll miss them so much when they did not texting back to you. It will make you feel worry about them
