I was a right immature idiot back then.
Got to a stage in my life where I was finally earning decent money with a job I could see myself progressing in and I rubbed it in her face. She was my biggest supporter. Encouraging and a good listening ear. When I needed money to get to work she helped me out, but I was too good to help her or have that same compassion when I finally 'made' it.
I do hope she found a better guy than me.
Took me many years after her to find my current lady. Nearly 9 years, I've vowed to do right by her the best I can. I was so full of myself you know I didn't even really hurt I wrote my ex off as the one with issues.
