humans are humans.. this whole idea of being in an exclusive relationships with someone long term is likely to have issues and eventually cheating. we are only human. marriage isn't human nature, it's just a made up social construct.

There's reasons for it outside of a social construct. The bigger issue, as I see it, is the lack of acknowledgement that marriage is nothing more than a business contract in the eyes of the law. Without understanding that, a whole lot of people end up paying big penalties.
