Is it wrong that i want to take a break from long distance relationships?

Look I'm not trying to over think this I have a guy that I'm currently thinking about buuuuut I'm having a problem with distance. Yes I'm use to online relationships but I really wanna have a chance to experience physical touch and love I mean hell my own father started treating me like a woman by opening my door or letting in a store first. I was so shocked I didnt even know I was supposed to be treated a certain way.

Idk maybe I should just take a break from long distance relationships and look for one close by.

Long distance relationships get lonely, and feel so unfulfilling for me after a while regardless of who the person is and how regularly we speak or how much we try to make it work. There’s more to a relationship than long distance can offer for me personally. (I know that’s not the case for everyone). But, being able to share experiences in person with your partner is wonderful and the best way to get to know them. Sometimes it’s hard to come across someone’s flaws when the only form of communication you have is through text/social media. It’s usually just how they want to be interpreted, but in person you’re able to learn their quirks and habits, routines (not just what they tell you, but what you see), whether you’re truly able to tolerate certain behaviors they have by actually experiencing them, and experience how they treat you. Not just what they’re saying they would do, but seeing for yourself first hand if their words match their actions.

@Stark Yes its the best way to know them. I have had very long term relationships for years long distance but once we moved together I really learned new things

@Stark This! I think people give themselves too much credit on line and wind up being the polar opposite of what they portray in cyberworld which is fine but it won’t keep a person interested very long.
