set up a separate, 'business', account, that is only used for that income, and the expenses associated (e.g. your internet connection, a laptop/PC, a camera). Give it some pretentious name like 'Infotainpix'.
No, I'm not joking, so long as any bank/card statements you get for it aren't littered with personal expenditures, it'll pass muster for most landlords as proof of an existing business/self-employed income.

Oh, you might also need that account set up if the IRS ever comes around (which, probably not, but better to be prepared).

Two edged sword isn't it? ;-) You could make $100k a year in unreported tips and compensation if you want to avoid taxes.
But in lenders eyes since you show little or no reported income to them you have no money. That means...no credit...and that means you have a worse credit rating for major purchases than someone who's flat broke. Apartment rentals....car rentals...buying a house....financing a car. All almost impossible......just to save paying taxes.

If you have a business, register your business.
Keep a record of payments in and payments out.
Keep your bank statements
Go see an Accountant who can help you organize and show you how to record it, they'll also give you advice on anything you can claim tax relief on.
