Why love bomb someone then practically ghost them?

@PhilDeep this lasted a few weeks. I'm a bit confused as to why none of these guys actually like talking to me because they like my personality 🤔

@PaleandPolluted Does seem strange. Bad timing, perhaps? They're distracted by problems in their lives?

@PhilDeep it was really severe love bombing. I think me liking them back killed it.

@PaleandPolluted Wow... that's coming-on pretty hard. Do you think he was a love addict and needed to feel the buzz from someone who reciprocated?

@PhilDeep i have no idea. He tells me how people did mean things but ever likely if he treats people like this. Its brutal to just abandon someone.

@PaleandPolluted From the most callous things I've experienced in life is the complete brutality of not caring at all about ending a relationship with any scrap of dignity at all :(

@PaleandPolluted Well... is there any possibility a family emergency of some sort has caused him to lose touch suddenly, but perhaps temporarily?

@PhilDeep hes been distant on and off for a while and I swear he lies about where hes been. I wouldnt mind its just the brutal cutting me off they knew i needed a friend. They complain people use them thats what they do!

@PaleandPolluted I gather. I still think he was trying to play you though. I don't buy the whole FWB thing at all but it seems to always be expected as at least a possibility these days. I call it copout.
