How do I know if a girl is a sub?

Does she wear a choker on her neck? Some other subtle hints / apprearace / behavioral pattern ?
Update: I am not into sub girls. I see some girls in University who dress something unusual and wear tight choker. I was wondering what they are called sub emo gothic? I do not have any idea about these classifications. In India, these type of girls dont exist.

Ask her. If you're not in a position where its acceptable to ask then you shouldn't be wondering about whether she is a sub or not.

Anyway, most subs aren't sub in real life. We hold down stressful jobs and live stressful normal lives which is why a lot of us like to be subs with our partners and lovers. A huge majority of subs will actually be the least submissive people in vanilla life.

The only way to find out is to actually get in a situation where you feel it is appropriate to ask.
