how would you know if he likes you or he's just being friendly towards you?

i ask him once if i were attractive. he just laugh it off..

i just hate this feeling that im trying my best but it seems that i dont have a chance.😔

That's why you should ask him straight up so you can find out whether or not you're wasting each others time.

i want to try again but i know for sure he would just ignore it or pretend that i didnt ask that question.. i dont know why im so hooked to him, maybe bcoz i think he needs someone like me who can understand him. i guess its better to be just a friend to him.
