Did you ever get a romantic bf/gf proposal?

Did the person you were dating quite a while made a cute gesture to make a offical relationship with you? Cause my romantic self wants to know does this actually happen. Like giving me roses or taking me to a movie theater and giving me a gift afterwards asking me. "Will you be my gf/partner" I just love that 😍 but in reality I wanna know does this actually happen or is it just basic and slightly disappointing?

I'm pretty good at doing them in real life. I don't use the ability, but I have done many romantic gestures for women which were found to be far out of the ordinary. So yes, it happens. :-)
@Lucia thank you for giving me some hope

@xXAlternativeblkchicxX Your problem, as a woman, is that most likely the people who develop these skills end up in your friendzone. Because people who are naturally good at attracting women wont develop the skill.

And people who are not will over-think it for a long time, develop the skill and most often be too shy to use it.

So without knowing you, you might have to consider what kind of person you're dating if it doesn't happen.
@Lucia oh yeah definitely agree with that I've seen dudes who are more shy to develop that skill like you said. It's kinda sad though. But I hope so I found someone that isnt afraid of it.

@xXAlternativeblkchicxX Usually the people who do this need to have some sense of re-assurance that they are not going to make absolute asses of themselves. They're used to that from the teenage years.

So any direct hint that you like it - or like them - could trigger the courage to do so. It can be something small like taking their hand without waiting for them to reach for yours.
@Lucia yup I definitely agree. I'm shy at first at times too and I definitely agree little nudges help and just talking about certain things you like tends to help too. Like doing that also helps me look for perfect gifts to give them.

@xXAlternativeblkchicxX One thing I never understood is the notion that "Disney romance never happens" - because the only reason that it doesn't, is because people don't make it happen for themselves.
@Lucia I believe that but then I never experienced it either as much as I want too. I have reached my coming of age moment yet XD
