I’m sorry but I disagree. If he isn’t the way he used to be have you ever thought it’s his mental health that’s bad? Maybe he’s going through some stuff? What if that’s the case, he doesn’t wanna hurt you more by telling you what’s happening. Then you go and dump him for it? There must be a reason for this.

Yeah mine promised to be better too but all he did better was to try and keep me stressed.

Anyone who tells you that you or anything relating to you "isn't worth it," then they're not worth it. Okay, if they live so far away that it's a big expense, of course, but I assume he lives close by. Dump his ass and move on to someone who deserves you.
