Why would you give up on something you're supposed to be giving out unconditionally?

There's a huge difference between love and feeling loved. Love is what you do, not what you get.

If it's a transaction (you get something for your actions), stop identifying it as the transformative. That's not love, that's a contract.

Never have consciously/intentionally wanted to..But, over the long term of about 30 years, giving up on it just takes on a life all its own somehow.
