Why would you give up on something you're supposed to be giving out unconditionally?

There's a huge difference between love and feeling loved. Love is what you do, not what you get.

If it's a transaction (you get something for your actions), stop identifying it as the transformative. That's not love, that's a contract.

Never have consciously/intentionally wanted to..But, over the long term of about 30 years, giving up on it just takes on a life all its own somehow.

I'll never give up on love. Love is the only thing that's real. Everything else is illusion. I'm about ready to give up on humans, however.
