Do you think it’s possible to be friends with someone you were once in love with?

How do you know if you’re being a mature adult about a situation? Or when you’re just being taken advantage of?

Sadly no. I just had to let my feelings go for someone who didn't feel the same. I tried holiday conversation but once that finality is out there, there's no going back.
