I do think it's possible. We don't text quite as often as we used to but we're still good friends (whenever needed).
They used to call her Sunshine in college. She's the brightest light I could ever have around me. I think you just need to figure out if a friendship is worth it and stick to it.
I don't know why she keeps me as a friend... I think I'm getting the most benefit out of this.
