The power of your intuition when deciding whether to stay or go

Hello everyone,
I don't know who needs to read this, but I recently wrote a blog post about listening to your intuition.

Took my daughter to a campus self-defense class when she was in high school & that was one of the first things the officer said. That in situations where co-Ed’s were assaulted they would say that they got a sense that something was off but they ignored it.

Oh I know! I always had to remind my daughter that not everybody is her friend. Way too naive!@cherokeepatti

@Keepitsimple When they leave home & move to the campus they are optimistic & eager to make new friends. In their excitement they fail to realize that not everyone on campus is good. Stress at that age can trigger mental illnesses for the first time. And some of the male students tend to be possessive when their mental problems start. I worked with a student one summer who was later murdered by her boyfriend. He was paranoid & accusing her of things & ended up shooting her. She was very quiet, a good worker & a serious student who was planning on becoming a doctor.

@cherokeepatti Oh my god...that’s awful and so sad! This is why I’m glad she stayed local and just commuted to school. I would have been texting her all day 😂.

The minute you get that feeling in your stomach, that’s your gut talking....move on.
