I think people need to be more blunt in a relationships. True or false?

Some people wanna lie and lie. Why can't people be more blunt?
Yes the truth with hurt and sting, but would you rather have a partner that calls you out on your bullshit and games.
Plus couples roasting each other are in a REAL relationship.
