Hi I have a question because I don't really if I'm just being too sensitive

I had a conversation through chat a while a go with a very very close person to me (might be best friend/boy friend).

Him: I'll have to rest for a moment

Me: okay, let me send you hugs

Him: I'll just play games because this is what makes me feel relaxed

Me: okay go ahead

Him: I'm running out of time there's a big event on this game

Uhm... Is it bad? Does he mean I'm an uncomfortable person? And why do he have to send me those sad emojis??? I'm not gunna reply if he'll just tell me.
