What do you do if you can't move on, and stop liking someone?

For some reason I can't put her out of my head, even though she has a boyfriend and is happy I still feel so worthless. I know were still friends but, I feel like I missed the opportunity. It takes a lot for me to get as close to someone as I have with this girl. I am thinking of asking her about polyamory, which I don't know is right or not. Basically I want to tell her she could have us both, I am satisfied if I'm just a guy on the side if it means we're something more than friends. I don't know what to do.

It has happened with me too. Except I didn't thought about the polyamorous part lol. I can never adjust with a guy on other side.

Here is what I did :-

I started disliking her. I know it's hard but I started finding faults in her and everything she used to associate with. It was hard at the beginning but after 1 months believe me I started disliking her to such an extent and wondered how the hell can I fall in love with such a selfish and mean person.
Also I started talking to my other friends who were very close to me, used to hang out with them.
Spent more time watching action movies and news. Basically do everything you can to distract your mind from her. :)
