she likes me but battles between the heart and brain

this girl, we're friends and she is 17..she is very passionate and wants to be writer and stuff so she has alot in mind..

anyways she likes me and I like her.. . she told me the other day at like 5am..
tho she after she said don't put what I said in mind coz I was using my heart..
she also says I don't want to use my heart..

i understood she battles between the brain and the heart and doesn't wanna get all sensitive with emotion..
she's scared of commitment and all this topic. she only loved one time and her ex effected her negative

i understand why she is like that but what's ur opinions
