What would your ideal date be like?
I'm reading this novel which I find myself loving so much because I can relate to the main character.
Sometimes, you would be willing to give the chance for a person to get to know you, only for them to not realize how difficult it was for you to make that choice. Sometimes, when a person says he'd like to get to know you, for you it wouldn't feel like that at all. Sometimes, it's like he just wants you there for himself and not because he wants to make you happy. I don't like this feeling at all but I can't say I haven't experienced it.
So my ideal date would be spending time with someone who would rather be with me the whole time we were together no matter what we end up doing, instead of anywhere else alone or with another person.
Because sometimes, you can be physically present in a place, and yet your heart and mind would crave to be elsewhere.
