Would you be hurt at this?

Been with boyfriend for almost 2 years. Up till now, we have only really spent weekends together as I live 3 hours away from him. Because of the lockdown, he decided to move in with me temporarily along with his teenage stepson who is 19 and there is also my son who is 9.
I thought things were going okay until I saw a post he was personally tagged in. It was a joke thing, 2 men having a conversation about how they are getting a hard time off their partners and how tough it is. I know it was a joke but I wonder why my partner was specifically tagged in it and now it has got me paranoid he is discussing the tough situation with his friends. Am I being over sensitive?

Yes, I guess you are getting over sensitive.

My most of my friends tags me in their nonsense posts. Tagging is used by them to get your attention, as you might have muted other sort of updates/notification. This types of jokes are common these days world vide. I have received tens of such jokes, even I am single and is not in any relationship.

Just ignore it.. And try to make all your family members happy at this time when everyone needs a mental support to go through the circumstances.

@Jenni855 There can be many other reasons of doing this, like just making joke of others (this type of fun is common among males), trying to initiate conversation on useless topics, creating an issue in others relationship and enjoying it, or just without any reason.

If there is still any doubt in your mind, better to talk to your boyfriend directly instead of making guesses. Communication gap is the biggest culprit if any relationship. But don't start the conversation that makes it feel that you have any doubt.
