What is the biggest age gap (higher or lower) that you would date?

I had a conversation with a friend who said there is a formula. Take the older person's age, divide by 2, add 7. So a 36 year old could date a 25 year old (36/2 = 18 + 7 =25). What age difference do you feel comfortable with?

age difference isn't on my high list of prerequisites; it's more about their mentality, personality, values, interests, etc.

If it's someone I can associate with easily, age is just an arbitrary number... 🤔

@wildbill83 I get that but I'd think there's an age range where your personalities, mentalities, etc. would match up better. Or at least like more consistently.
