What is the biggest age gap (higher or lower) that you would date?

I had a conversation with a friend who said there is a formula. Take the older person's age, divide by 2, add 7. So a 36 year old could date a 25 year old (36/2 = 18 + 7 =25). What age difference do you feel comfortable with?

I dated a woman 7-8 years older then me and it was great!
Also dated a woman younger and it wasn’t so fun.

Personally I’m not a fan of women under let’s say 28 now since I’m 34. The life gap is to great past that.
Also I don’t think going too much older would be fair either.

I definitely feel there could be a really good connection and romance but life points and goals would be too great. Think your formula is a good way to look at extremes

@MrFreeeeeze That's the kind of thing I'm getting--that the life differences are more difficult to get past even if there's an attraction.
