Corona not so serious according to my boyfriend, any thoughts?

My boyfriend is offended I don't wanna join a party he's planning in a house in a city located 1 and half hour trainride away from my town. I'm scared because of the corona virus... I told him and he said I should not exaggerate. Any thoughts?

Imagine no one that is going to the party has the virus on the day of the party, and one just one person stops on the way and buys some beer and pays cash, in the change one coin has the virus on it.
He now has the virus on his hand and the warmth causes it to multiply, it's on his steering wheel and now both hands,handbrake lever, gearshift, door latch, when he arrives at the party he shakes hands with his mates and hugs a few others, by the time the party is over everyone except you is infacted.
Because you didn't go and you told him to stay away for two weeks after the party.
We have cancelled all our weekly get togethers and 6 parties for the rest of the year.

@Johnblackthorn Yes, thank you, those are exactly my thoughts. I've been so cautious for the past weeks, working from home, washing hands after I come back from supermarket and only skyping with poeple (even though I miss my friends and colleagues so much...) And now I should get infected and sick and maybe pass it to some older poeple or someone with an immune illness, only so that Mr. Know-it-all won't be offended... yeah, right..
