Afraid to get burnt?

Interesting that I would be told "yeah right, and get burnt" regarding telling me their intentions.
But, they were fine with me possibly being vulnerable enough to "get burnt"

@WatercolourWildFlowers I've become less trusting as I've become older. With more experiences, that happens.
I trust some people with some things
Others with other things
I trust no one 100%

@Phire1 that's me too, in my offline world I have surrounded myself with a handful of beautiful friends and am so slow to open up to new people. Online I struggle to trust anyone.

My online world is more open, actually

@WatercolourWildFlowers Well, the most important family members of mine have all passed away. I'm not close with other family for a long time.
It's a long story about friends.
