All the time. They look at me as if there is something wrong with me, but I'm perfectly normal, and am just fine. When the right person comes along, and the timing is right . . . perhaps my status will change.
They don't understand how one can possibly be satisfied without a romantic partner.... yeah I get it all the time.

Not really. They look funny at me when they hear that I've been single for 14 yrs out of choice.

It looks like is everybody's business.

@Augusta: Yes, they often consider it their next mission to fix me up with someone to make me "happy" like they are. It takes a while for the words "I am single out of choice" to sink in to their heads. They hear it but don't believe it.

No, they look at me. Fat single guy and think ... that about right.

I hate to break your bubble but they are plenty of fat, single women out there.

There nothing to burst. My friend is dating a large woman, and he is skinny as ...well you get the idea. It may be harder for guys in some cases, but I get women have the issues as well. It sorta made me think, jeeze if the skinny one grabbing all the women big boned and all. What chance have I got lol. I know it shallow thinking but it did irk me a bit. I guess I don't really think about relationships anymore. If I can't have one why should I even fret over it

It never came up. In amy conversation.
