Did I say the right thing?

did I do the right thing, I told the girl I like that I'm happy she found someone that makes her happy even though I'm not over her. I do want her to be happy but, part of me can't let her go. I'm so conflicted, I did what I think was right but what if I'm wrong?

You said the right thing, you told her the truth. I don't see what could go wrong with saying that, either way it doesn't change her new relationship with someone else. I think you seem like a nice guy from saying that and who knows, when she stops talking to this person she might realise you've always been there for her

The problem is if I still have feelings for someone, did I really mean it when I said it. Even if I'm unsure if I meant it was it ok to say?

Ahh okay, so you don't know if you actually have feelings for her? If your were unsure if you meant it, you still have feelings for her regardless since you're not over her. So it was ok to say
