I often wonder if I should have married my girlfriend in university. She actually asked me to marry her but we had a bit of an age difference (I was 19, she was 28), and I wanted to finish school and start a career before I thought about marriage. So I said no but explained why. She didn't even want to be friends after that and hasn't spoken to me since.
Also, the last woman I was super serious about ended up moving away to pursue her career in a different country. I wanted to ask her to marry me but didn't want to stand in the way of her and her dreams so I let her go. To this day she's the only woman I was certain about when it comes to marriage. Still fucks me up that I never asked her and will now never know.

@amenforanthony You should have definitely asked her. But, I always believe love comes before anything else.
