What to do next?

So I talked to her after class, got her number, we chatted a few times (but it was mostly about college work). She was pretty cool and seemed to be laughing at my jokes and stuff, gave her number in the first meeting.
Anyways last Thursday after class I asked her if she wanted to hang out coz I was totally free (idk if that was the right line lol) she had some friends waiting so she said she had to go.

So what now?
Should I play the push and pull game and not talk to her for a while or something or what?

You can either play it cool and wait for her to make the next move, while someone else chats her up.
or
You can think for one or two milliseconds.
she gave you her number for a reason, now is so not the time to be playing it cool or doubting yourself.

@Johnblackthorn I mean I got her number in a way that I wanted to ask about class work and stuff lol do you think that still counts?
Harrystyles11 · 22-25, M
@Johnblackthorn but yeah she was pretty cool about giving it to me though

@Harrystyles11 she trusted you enough to give you her number, if she had no interest and no trust, she would have said to chat in class.
as long as you don't harrass her you'll be fine.

@Johnblackthorn so what would be the move here?
Harrystyles11 · 22-25, M
@Johnblackthorn Yeah but what's the move now, how do I like get her to hang out with me or something, hangout I guess would. Be the more casual way of asking someone out.

@Harrystyles11 start with a thought out text. "hi, I saw you in class and wondered how you were"
is a bad text, it just says I'm stalking you.
avoid txt spk n stuf,it maketh no sense. "hi, how is your day going?"
Is a good start.

@Harrystyles11 I do fully understand the want to be cool and casual, but too casual comes across as disinterested in the same way that any platform that makes it easy does.
in the last few days a woman on here has asking why a guy that has shown an interest only chats to her publicly on fb and likes everything she posts.
clearly he's in your position, interested but lacking the confidence to make the move.

@Johnblackthorn Thanks a lot man! I'll do something about it

@Johnblackthorn meeting her this week
Had a long chat with her, she couldn't seem more interested... I asked her to meet me to help me with some of the class work and she agreed, haven't decided the time though but she knows I'll text her in college.
You think I did fine there?
Johnblackthorn · 56-60, M
@Harrystyles11 definitely, your past the hardest part, just be yourself ans stop worrying, girls appreciate confidence in a guy.
