All involve compromise! The question is, what and why.
Everyone says they love for who you are and as you are but that is very seldom if ever totally true. So when the compromises come, who do they benefit? Do they ask you to change for them, or do they seek your best interest. Do they put your best interest, ahead of their own? I’m convinced that two people who’s primary desire is the health, happiness, and well being of the other....is bliss.

@Extant1 You have to love yourself first and foremost, before you can give love to others..
So when it comes to compromise.. you can only do that on the outer peripheral of your core beliefs and values.. So long as each of you understand this and know what each person's core values and beliefs are... compromise will work regardless of who changes of if you both change..
Some think of it as growing old together....
