Attractive?
When he tells you you are attractive or (very) but not pretty or beautiful...what does this mean?
Men: is it just an adjective?
Woman: do you find it insulting?
Men: is it just an adjective?

Wait a minute. I need clarification... did he literally say the phrase "you are attractive but not pretty or beautiful"? Or did he refer to you as "attractive" rather than call you "pretty" or "beautiful"?
@Gemini16 oh ok. Gotcha. That's how I interpreted it but from reading the comments I think others may have interpreted it the other way.
For me, attractive means more than looks. It's about how I feel around a woman. If she fills me with a sense of desire then I would say shes attractive. I've found some women to be pretty but utterly unattractive. I've also found women that are less than ideal on the pretty factor but that i am wildly attracted to because of our chemistry.
So for me, attractive is a pretty big compliment.
