@SW-User my dad does that and my ex used me as her punching bag and I can tell you honest straight out I took one look at that realized she was the child of a woman ho hadn't held down a long term relationship since she as born and all the girls I used to crush on came out of families more functional than mine not less....

I have no desire to "Fix" what went wrong with my dad I want to move past it entirely.
