Is asking for space in relationship wrong?

I am in relationship after 7 years of my breakup. I have to speak to her all the time if not we will get in to arguments. either i have to be in video call or regular call when she is away from me. I give her space when she hangout with her friends. IF i hang out with my friends she will make number of calls and ask how long i will be there with them all questions. I have to be on call when im cooking i have to be on call when im listening to my favorite music i have to be on call with her no matter what im doing. Im not getting my space. If im not in conversation with her she says i think you dont love me as much as i do. She takes the this conversation to the stage of i get frustrated and irritated and she says im afraid of loosing you i never met a guy like you. Im confused. I dont want to do my love life like a duty it has to be a responsibility.

Shes extremely insecure and if she doesnt sort it out it will destroy your relationship and if it does it will happen to her next bf and so on and so forth and she will lead a miserable life in love with her self fulfilling prophecy.
Yes you deserve space.

@MushroomFaerie i tried explaining her in all aspects. i even asked her if your are in secure about what should i do to gain your trust. She says no i trust you but checks all my call log and messages. Im not saying she is bad she is good one but i dont know how to sort it out. I feel like i have to be alone all my life thank staying in relationship.
@Iloveoceans yeah shes not gonna know, shes probably felt that way her whole life and doesnt know any different.
Being alone your whole life is a bit dramatic though
